چکیده
The large concentration of the world’s population in cities, along with rapid urbanization, have brought numerous environmental and socioeconomic challenges to sustainable urban systems (SUS). However, current SUS studies focus heavily on ecological aspects, rely indicators that are not supported by available data, lack comprehensive analytical frameworks, neglect regional differences. This paper develops a novel approach assessing sustainability from perspectives using commonly enumerated statistics. It integrates land use cover change data ecosystem service values, applies mining analytics derive indicators, evaluates states as trade-offs among relevant indicators. synthetic is called integrated land-use mining–based multi-objective assessment (ISL-DM-MOA). presents case study development cities counties Inner Mongolia, China, which face many problems. identifies two types: (1) several boast well-developed economies, diversified industrial sectors, vital transportation locations, good living conditions, cleaner environments; (2) few small population, construction areas, extensive natural grasslands, primary grazing economies. ISL-DM-MOA framework innovatively synthesizes currently statistics unified dataset assess total socio-environmental system. deviates indicator advocates notion data-mining-driven dimensions. Furthermore, diverges concept composite score for determining sustainability. Instead, it promotes Pareto Front choice set candidates, because varies nations, regions, locations differs between political, economic, environmental, cultural systems.
